DALHOUGAL HOUSE APARTMENTS
CONDITIONS OF LET
When you confirm your booking by the payment of a deposit you enter a
contract between you, the visitor andDalhougal House Apartments. Please
read the following conditions and ask for an explanation of any point
that is unclear to you.
1. The letting period runs from 16.00hrs on the day of arrival until 10.00
hrs on the day of departure.
2. The acceptance of the completed booking form and payment of deposit
shall constitute an offer and a contract shall come into existence when
we accept the booking which we will confirm. Bookings from persons under
18 years cannot be accepted.
3.In the event of cancellation of booking, the deposit will not be refunded
. Visitors are responsible for arrangement of appropriate holiday cancellation
insurance. We do not provide any such insurance as part of the contract
4. Only the total number of persons listed on the booking form may occupy
the accommodation. Sub letting or assignation of the Let is strictly prohibited.
5. The person who signs the booking form will be responsible for any loss
or damage to the property. The accommodation should be kept clean and
in good condition. All breakages should be reported immediately. Any shortcomings
in the apartments should be reported immediately in order to have them
remedied. No claims can be considered if not notified. No claims made
after 14 days of completion of holiday can be considered.
6. Personal property of visitors occupying apartments and vehicles and
their contents are not the responsibility of Dalhougal House Apartments.
7. If for any reason the accommodation is not available through events
arising outwith our control, i.e. fire, flood, theft we would take reasonable
steps to find alternative accommodation. Any monies paid would be refunded.
In the interest of continued improvement we reserve the right to alter,
add or delete amenities or facilities either advertised or previously
available, without prior notice.
8. We reserve the right not to hand over the accommodation to any person/s
who in our opinion is :- a. Not suitable to take charge, in such cases
all monies shall be refunded in full and the contract discharged. b. Not
suitable to continue the let due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to
property or annoyance to neighbours. In this case a proportionate refund
of the remaining period will be made and the contract discharged. c. We
reserve the right to enter the accommodation under special circumstances
or emergencies. d. The Dalhougal House Apartments are to be used for the
sole purpose of a holiday let to which Section 12(2) and paragraph 8 of
Schedule of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 apply. The booking agreement
confers a right to occupy the accommodation for the agreed period only.
9. We will not be responsible for death or personal injury save insofar
as it results from proven negligence of the owners of the apartments.
10. In the interest of other guests and maintaining hygiene of the apartments
and garden area, we do not allow pets to stay in the apartments.
11. Smoking is not allowed in the apartments in the interest of the majority
of our guests.
